ID drink to that! 6 wine identifiers…
Oh Cyber Monday, you make a fool out of me, with your ease of purchase and shipping deals.
Having spent much of this weekend getting my holiday gifts in order, I found these gorgeous Wine IDs — handmade from HattieRex in Missouri. And I just had to share them with you.

Gorgeous gifts, gorgeously homemade.
That’s the kind of thoughtfulness we like here at the sisterhood.
Our Zazzle Store
You’ve asked and we’ve answered — your favorite Wine Sisterhood merchandise is now available at Zazzle. My personal favorite is the canvas bag, but I’ll leave the shopping to you. We’ll be adding items throughout this season — keep your favorite sister in mind this year.
Fun Times with Cheese
We’re excited about lots of things going on around the Wine Sisterhood parts (book giveaway! National Finals Rodeo!) but there’s one thing that makes us super happy.
Natalie, another one of the Wine Sisters and I are in this month’s Food & Wine magazine!
Have we told you about our cheese club, Cheesewhizzes?
Started three long years ago, we started a small local cheese club that’s grown and spread and gotten much bigger than we’d ever expected. And craziest about the whole thing is that we were featured in the December magazine.
Read all about it for tips to throw a great wine and cheese party this holiday season.
The New Secrets of Style from InStyle Magazine
The New Secrets of Style from InStyle was released October 27 and I was lucky enough to snag one of the early copies… for you.
It’s a handy guide for folks like me — babies! work! busy! — that don’t have the time we’d like to invest in learning which styles work for us.
The book is available to order at www.instyle.com and is in bookstores nationwide.
If you’d like to try to win a copy, just leave a comment with a wine question.
(We’ll answer as many of them as we can in the upcoming weeks.)
Tomorrow, Wednesday, I’ll pull the random number generator and choose a winner.
Good luck, you stylish thing.
Products with a Purpose
Every year the products you can purchase that give a percentage of their profits (say that five times fast) to breast cancer research get better and better. Yes, I know, you can just donate the money directly, and there are two great places to do that:
You can always give to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. And my recent favorite (free!) is The Breast Cancer Site. The Breast Cancer Site lets you click to provide free mammograms to women who can’t otherwise afford a mammogram.
One of the Wine Sisterhood’s partners is Tough Enough to Wear Pink, which has a unique store that sells western wear and rodeo items. They’ve given some amazing amounts of money to further breast cancer research and we’re lucky to be involved.

One of my favorite items is this Ann Taylor bracelet. Not too pastel, not too tacky, Ann Taylor gives $5.00 per bracelet to the Breast Cancer Research Fund and you look good in the meantime.

Perfect for the wine sisters among us, this Sisterhood necklace from The Breast Cancer Site is a powerful way to show all our roles as women. Four silver hoops read “Mothers,” “Daughters,” “Sisters,” and “Friends” for only $14.95.

As I’m currently 8 months pregnant, I was drawn to this Fit 2 B Mom kit. A whopping 15% of proceeds are given to the National Breast Cancer foundation — plus, cute!

Every year, this mixer catches my eye. Macys offers this pink Kitchenaid stand mixer as part of their Cook for the Cure® program. The best part? Kitchenaid donates FIFTY dollars for each pink stand mixer sold.
